The visit began with an office call with the Commander of the JALLC, Brigadier General Cristinel-Dumitru Colibaba. During their meeting, the Ambassador and the Commander discussed Canada’s significant and longstanding contributions to NATO, as well as the JALLC’s pivotal role in identifying and implementing lessons to ensure the Alliance remains agile and prepared for future challenges.

Following the office call, Ambassador Racicot received a comprehensive briefing on the JALLC’s mission, its key activities, and its diverse range of products. The briefing highlighted how the JALLC supports NATO’s decision-making process through joint analysis and how the centre serves as the custodian of NATO’s Lessons Learned process.
