The JALLC continued to demonstrate its dedication to improving the Alliance-wide implementation, sustainment, and development of NATO’s Lessons Learned Capability, deploying three JALLC Analysis and Training Team (JATT) members to Rota, Spain, from 08 July 2024 to 10 July 2024.  The JATT provided training to 14 members of the Spanish Maritime Forces (MARFOR), a key force provider for NATO’s maritime operations.

developing a Lesson Identified.Operation Sea Guardian.jpg

Lieutenant Colonel Alvaro Torres, the Assistant Chief of Staff for the Spanish Fleet HQ, thanked the JATT for their support to his staff, saying, “Our skills and knowledge in Lessons Learned have been boosted!”

Through this engagement, the JALLC once again provided valuable and timely insights and expertise to a key member of NATO’s Force Structure, enabling the Spanish MARFOR to further grow their Lessons Learned capability and enhance their performance and readiness in order to meet the challenges of any future threat to security.
