On 14 February 2012, the Deputy Commander Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO ( STRIKFORNATO), Rear Admiral Russ Harding OBE, GBR (N), visited the Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Centre ( JALLC) in Monsanto, Lisbon Portugal.

STRIKFORNATO is due to relocate to Lisbon during the course of 2012, and RAdm Harding will be the Senior Officer located at the Oeiras facility following deactivation of JFCLB. RAdm Harding discussed the ongoing transition with the JALLC Commander, Brigadier General Peter Sonneby and specificly Base Support issues. It was a very productive discussion and RAdm Harding gained an understanding on the support the JALLC is receiving from JFCLB and the possible caveats after the closing of JFCLB. RAdm Harding expressed his appreciation for the visit and concluded by signing the JALLC "Book of Honour”.
