On Wednesday 26 January, his Excellency the Ambassador of Germany, Mr. Helmut Elfenkämper, visited the Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Centre (JALLC) in Monsanto, Lisbon Portugal.

Ambassador Mr. Helmut Elfenkämper , was welcomed by the JALLC Commander, Brigadier General Peter Sonneby. After a courtesy call with Commander JALLC, the Ambassador was briefed on where the JALLC fits within Allied Command Transformation on the role, capabilities and activities of the JALLC. The Ambassador was very pleased with the briefing and showed a special interest in the analysis methods and the initiative related to contacts to universities and academia. He offered to support the JALLC in any request to Germany on such contacts.
