Although the NATO Lessons Learned Conference 2024 (NLLC24) will really get started tomorrow, today was a first opportunity for some of the participants to get together in the afternoon and look at the latest and greatest from the NATO Lessons Learned Portal.
After the JALLC’s own COL Arturo Sabando, Head of the JALLC’s Lessons Learned Management Division, welcomed participants, the afternoon kicked off with presentations on the NATO Lessons Learned Portal and its future successor the NATO Lessons Learned Toolset.
The NLLP is the Tool in the NATO Lessons Learned Capability and functions as the gateway to the NATO Lessons Learned Process. It is NATO’s centralized hub for all NATO Lessons Learned related information. Observations, Lessons Identified, Best Practices, and even Lessons already Learned as well as Lessons Learned related documents, can be submitted to the NLLP from all over NATO, the Nations, and Partner Nations.
The afternoon continued with presentations on national experience using new Lessons Learned Tools from the US and from NATO Partner: Ukraine. In the breaks, particpants could get a first taste of the informative industry stands taking part in the conference whixh include demonstrations in augmented reality, hologram technology, and robotics.
The NLLC24 begins in earnest tomorrow with almost 300 participants from NATO Nations, Partners, International Organizations, Industry, and Academia attending the two days of presentation and discussions around the conference theme: NATO Lessons Learned Capability Development in support of NATO 2030 Efforts. Check in with us tomorrow to catch the highlights from the first full day of the 2024 edition of the NATO Lessons Learned Conference.
