From 02 November to 05 November 2021, the JALLC hosted the NATO Lessons Learned Fall Week. During this event, Lessons Learned Community members from the NATO Command Structure and NATO Force Structure Headquarters had the opportunity to get together and address the Alliance’s primary ongoing issues related to Lessons Learned. The event was conducted, for the first time, in a hybrid format, with in-person meetings complemented with video conferences, allowing greater participation across NATO.

For the duration of the week, several working groups took place discussing a wide range of topics such as the NATO Lessons Learned Capability Improvement Roadmap 2021-25, the Lessons Learned Battle Rhythm, the improvements implemented in the NATO Lessons Learned Portal, the main findings of the Analysis products recently completed, and the JALLC Programme of Work  for next year.

The outcome of the NATO Fall Lessons Learned week will drive, for the upcoming months, the NATO Lessons Learned Community effort in ensuring that the Alliance remains an effective learning organization.
