The Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Centre (JALLC) successfully hosted the 2026 iteration of the NATO-wide Anti-Fraud & Anti-Corruption Community of Interest meeting. The two-day event, held in Oeiras, served as a vital forum for reinforcing institutional integrity and transparency across the Alliance.
The meeting saw the participation of 16 specialized professionals, with 14 attending in person and two joining via Video Teleconference. Reflecting the comprehensive nature of NATO's internal governance, the attendees represented a wide array of key bodies, including the International Staff, the International Military Staff, Allied Command Operations (ACO), Allied Command Transformation (ACT), the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), and the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA).

The primary objective of this year’s Anti-Fraud & Anti-Corruption meeting was to facilitate a robust exchange of information, innovative ideas, and proven best practices. Over the course of the two days, participants actively explored common ground and mapped out potential pathways for future institutional cooperation.
Regular meetings of the Anti-Fraud & Anti-Corruption Community of Interest are critical to maintaining NATO's operational resilience. By ensuring that anti-fraud and anti-corruption strategies are synchronized across all agencies and commands, the Alliance secures the trust and resources necessary to fulfill its core defensive mission.
The JALLC's effort in organizing and hosting this event underscores its broader role within the Alliance. Beyond its primary analytical and Lessons Learned mandates, the Centre continues to act as a crucial facilitator for high-level collaboration, driving the collective efforts that make NATO a continuously improving and highly accountable organization.
