On 13 August 2015, the Chief of Staff of the Brazilian Army, General Sérgio Westphalen Etchegoyen, visited the JALLC. The purpose of this visit was for the General and his party to gain an understanding of the JALLC, how it works, and what its activities are.

The visit started with a short office call with the JALLC's Chief of Staff, Colonel Jorge Barros Gomes, representing Commander JALLC, Brigadier General Mircea Mîndrescu in his absence. Following the office call, General Etchegoyen and his party were invited to attend a briefing on the JALLC which included an explanation of the JALLC's organization, mission, and tasks. The briefing also covered the JALLC's current Programme of Work as well as recent analysis projects and support to Exercises efforts.

The JALLC's briefing was followed by a presentation given by General Etchegoyen himself covering relevant aspects of the Brazilian Army including its organization and their internal lessons learned cell and portal.

General Etchegoyen's expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he had received at the JALLC and the informative briefing regarding the JALLC's activities, and his desire to improve the relationship between the JALLC and the Brazilian Army in the future, especially in the area of training.

The visit ended with the traditional signature of the Book of Honour, gift exchanging, and the group photo.
