On Tuesday 15 February, his Excellency the Ambassador of The Netherlands Mr Henk J.W. Soeters , visited the Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Centre (JALLC) in Monsanto, Lisbon Portugal.

Ambassador Mr Henk J.W. Soeters was welcomed by the JALLC Commander, Brigadier General Peter Sonneby. After a courtesy call with Commander JALLC, the Ambassador was briefed on the transformational role of ACT and how the JALLC supports this role and was given more details of our structure and processes and was informed about recent JALLC studies and other JALLC products as well as our role within Lessons Learned sharing and our "outreach" activities through the JALLC Advisory and Training Team.
The Ambassador was very pleased with the briefing and showed a special interest in the reform of the NATO Command Structure. He also emphasized the decision of the Dutch government, two weeks ago, to send personnel to conduct a training mission for the Afghan Police in Kunduz.
Afterwards, Ambassador Soeters signed the JALLC Book of Honour and expressed his appreciation for a fruitful visit and learning experience.
