On 23 September 2015, Admiral Mark E. Ferguson III visited the JALLC accompanied by Mr. Hasan Aygun (POLAD) and his Special Assistant, LT Dan Slot. Admiral Ferguson requested the visit to be included in his trip to Lisbon to meet with the Portuguese authorities and was meant to better understand the JALLC's organization and activities, including the support provided by the JALLC to Exercises

Due to the busy agenda of Admiral Ferguson, the visit consisted in a concise briefing focused on the ongoing projects and the support provided to exercises in Commander JALLC's office with the presence of all Divisions representatives. Admiral Ferguson took a great interest in the activities conducted by the JALLC and demonstrated willingness to contribute to both the JALLC's Programme of Work and to the prioritization of the Support to NATO Exercises.

When signing the Book of Honour, Admiral Ferguson expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and informative briefing he received and thanked the JALLC for its contribution to the Alliance
