On Tuesday 21 June, the new Defence Attaché, Colonel William G. Hampton, and Naval Attaché, Captain James H. Kruse, from the United States to Portugal visited the Joint Analysis and Lessons Learned Centre ( JALLC).
Their visit began with a warm welcome by the JALLC Commander, Brigadier General Peter Sonneby. After introductions, the gentlemen were presented with a brief on JALLC's activities, internal structure and processes delivered by JALLC's Chief of Staff, Colonel Joao Barbas, Portuguese Army. They were both impressed with JALLC's work and thankful for JALLC's service in supporting NATO Operations throughout the world. The visit was concluded with Colonel Hampton's signing of the JALLC Book of Honour and a photograph with the Command Group and the active and reserve US Officers stationed at JALLC.
