On 04 April 2024, NATO celebrated it’s 75th Anniversary. JALLC staff gathered to mark 75 years since the signing of the Alliance’s founding document, the North Atlantic Treaty. Since 1949, the Alliance has ensured peace, democracy and prosperity for its members, now counting 32 Allies and one billion people on both sides of the Atlantic.
The JALLC’s Commander and Chief of Staff were joined by members of the JALLC’s staff where a special birthday cake was cut with two of the longest serving staff members of the JALLC.
The Commander noted, “On this special day, it is important to remember the reason the Alliance was founded. That reason holds true today as we work to collectively defence freedom and democracy.”
At NATO HQ and across the Alliance, ceremonies were held to mark the occasion. Click here to watch the Youtube video of the official Anniversary ceremony held at NATO HQ.
